Staff Summary: This is a request to construct a detached garage at the rear of the property, located on the southwest portion of the parcel adjacent to both Mountain and West Telegraph Streets. The request also includes the installation of roof-mounted solar shingles that are proposed to face West Telegraph Street. At the suggestion of the Historic Resources Commission during the November 13, 2014 meeting, the applicant rescinded his previous request for roof-mounted solar panels on the west-facing roof of the main building in favor of this updated application that includes a detached garage and east-facing roof-mounted solar shingles.
F-2 HRC-14-146 For Possible Action: To consider a request from property owner Herman Bauer to amend a previously approved Historic Resources Commission application, HRC-10-102(A), to allow for modification of the buildings and site to accommodate additional dwelling units on property zoned Residential Office (RO), located at 812 N. Division Street, APN 001-191-06. (Susan Dorr Pansky) LATE INFORMATION
Summary: The applicant has a current approval from the Historic Resources Commission under application HRC-10-102(A) for the first of two duplex buildings (four dwelling units) and associated site and landscaping improvements. The applicant received approval for a Special Use Permit to construct eight dwelling units in two buildings on October 2, 2014. This is a request to modify the building, site and landscaping plans for both buildings to accommodate the larger number of dwelling units approved for the site.
